David Malan is the founder of Northstead Point.

David is an organisational development professional with a background designing and delivering leadership development inside one of Australia's largest energy companies. His work centres on leadership behaviour, organisational change and building capability in the settings where it is hardest to do well: technical, operational and high-consequence environments.

He partners with learning and development teams to build capability among technical professionals and the leaders who guide them. Engineers, specialists and managers who advanced on the strength of their expertise, and who now carry responsibility for people. His approach is practical and grounded, built on a simple belief: that the strongest leaders combine competence with humility.

David is an accredited organisational coach. Through Northstead Point he facilitates leadership programs, provides one-to-one coaching, and delivers assessment debriefs for organisations across energy and resources. He is based in Adelaide, South Australia.
